This work is the result of introspection relating directly to shape and color. The two tend to dominate my life. These pieces are moments to release inhibitions of how they typically relate, in an attempt to surprise myself. They are a path to open up new ways of thinking about form, and how it relates to the space it inhabits. The inspiration can come in the way a texture catches my eye, the way colors can emit a mood, or a sensation I may have at the moment of conception.
Craig Lupien is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He has been professionally practicing art for over twenty five years. He has work in private collections throughout the United States and has shown in numerous galleries over the years.
