How creating custom pieces with n.e.a.r. works:

We *love* custom- it’s our raison d’etre. As all of our projects are made-to-order, just for you, we order materials (woods, veneers, hardware etc) based on your specific design and needs. 

Color and finish-

We can match any color you wish. You can provide a sample to match- be it a fabric, wallpaper or other surface, or we can match any given paint manufacturer’s color with the pertinent information.

We work with a variety of finishes- our standard choices include matte, semi-gloss, gloss, lacquer…let us know what fits your needs. We’re always happy to advise if you’re unsure as to the best application for your project.

Materials-

There’s just about nothing we can’t work with (just about). We routinely work with all sorts of domestic and exotic woods, metal, precious metal leaf, glass, paper and wallpaper, fabric, leather, felt, mother-of-pearl and the list goes on. You name it, we’ve probably worked with it (or at least tested it out)!

We are happy to source and purchase materials or use ones you specify and ship to us. The same goes for hardware. We don’t stock hardware- again, it’s project-specific- we’re happy to advise, source, or let you know what we need if you wish to provide.
